I had a beautiful session at Folly beach with the Beckler family! We had beautiful weather, clouds and sun. And after lots of days with random pop up thunderstorms we felt very fortunate. I mean I know that that it’s really common to have them this time of year in Charleston, but wow! It seems more than normal!
So enough about the weather, I want to show you this beautiful session. I have said this a million times but the clothes are such a big deal! Natalie and I worked together choosing clothing. She had a beautiful dress already chosen for her to wear and some ideas for her daughter’s dress. I made some suggestions on the colors and what her husband should wear. Have I mentioned that I love color at the beach? I think most people think of pastels and neutrals but I think the best thing you can do is not match the background and try and choose clothing that stands out a bit. Here was our choices laid out together before the session. I suggest to my client’s laying them out all together so they can see how they look together.
You can see how these colors compliment each other really well and everyone stands out and no-one is matching.

As you can see they brought their love and fun to the session. That really makes the photos special! No posing, just natural moments of fun and play.
